Despite the portrait of outward civility etcetera, don't we all know that there are underlying negative currents between Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld, the editors-in-chief of American & French Vogue, respectively? A negativity that was brought out in early 2005 when Roitfeld placed some photographs of Bee Schaffer, Wintour's daughter, right after what was called the most erotic picture in the magazine, not to mention that was the 'erotic-chic' edition of French Vogue.
Over the last year, both Wintour and Roitfeld have been seen attending movie premiers and runway shows with their latest chic accessory, their daughters. It's official. Julia Restoin Roitfeld, 25, and Bee Schaffer, 19, have been making the fashion rounds. Seems like a quiet game of 'Who has the better, more fashionable, more viable daughter?' is being played between Roitfeld and Wintour.
Now Julia Roitfeld has proved her mettle by bagging Tom Ford's upcoming campaign, debuting in November. Julia is set to star as the face of Ford's new perfume- Black Orchid.Wonder what Mama Wintour thinks about that? Methinks she will be pulling some very fashionable strings for her little Bee to make a bigger buzz than what Julia Restoin Roitfeld will soon be making worldwide.

I like Julia Roitfeld a whole lot better than Wintour's daughter. Roitfeld seems to have her own individuality.

Did you know Anna Wintour was among the first few who got to sniff Ford's new fragrance? Ford was singing her praises at the event, so you can only imagine how it might have been for Wintour to see her the daughter of her 'rival' be the subject of such accolades!
i know i might sound like a bore here but i seriously think both of them are stunning young women. both gorgeous in their own special way. so its a tie here :P
Sophia: I definitely think Bee is as pretty as Julia. But it is also true that with this campaign Julia will have the chance to step out of her mom's shadow and be a 'celebrity' in her own right, which is still not the case for Bee. But don't we all know that these doors are opening for Bee & Julia greatly due to their mothers' influence? ;)
Bee's got nice features :) But both are pretty. I'd root for Bee. I wanna see if she'll turn out as feisty as Mama Wintour ;)
